Mortgage brokers assist in the home loan process, helping borrowers find the best rates from a variety of sources and lenders.

There are literally hundreds of mortgage companies in Houston to choose from, most will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Do not confuse a mortgage broker with a mortgage banker.

A mortgage broker ORIGINATES the loans but does not actually service the loan, while a mortgage banker ORIGINATES and some times service their loans.

According to The Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers, Mortgage Brokers now produce nearly 2/3rds of all Mortgage business.
