My name is George Hosek, I am the owner, publisher, website designer, I'm also the exclusive photographer of this site. I have been doing assignment and freelance photography for regional and national publications for the past twenty years.

I have traveled extensively throughout Texas and have amassed a large collection of Texas images, many are featured on this site. Over the last few years I've started shooting HD video, so far I have only added a few clips but hope to have more available in the near future.

I have written a few of the articles on the site, but for the most part I have hired talented writers from across Texas. If you would like to contribute an article or become a staff writer please contact me by email.

On a slightly different note, I'm also an apartment locator, helping people from across the country with their move to Houston and throughout the state of Texas.

This site has been on-line since 1999, and has been growing in popularity ever since. I spend a lot of time working on the site and enjoy it a great deal, hearing from people from around the world makes it all worthwhile.
