Holiday Lights Hermann Park
Hermann Park Conservancy is
saddened to announce that
Holiday Lights will not take
place in 2007.
“We realize that Holiday
Lights has become a tradition for many Houston families,” said Executive
Director Doreen Stoller. “But, an event of this magnitude requires
significant underwriting. It is a minimum of a $300,000 annual investment.
Unlike a shopping center or other venue, we have to bring in generators to
light the Park and provide 24-hour security for all the equipment. We hope
that we can bring back this holiday favorite in the future.” |
