Although, Big Bend State Park didn't have nearly as many flowers as Big Bend National Park, it still had some impressive and beautiful stands, mostly along the roadsides.  I was in such a hurry to get back to the National Park, I almost didn't stop for this image, what made me decide to turn around  was not the flowers but the full moon (center of photo). Now I realize the flowers not the moon is what makes this photo one of my favorites of the trip.
